Μεσα σε πρασινο περιβαλλον που συνθετουν κυριως πευκα και ελαιοδενδρα ξεπηδουν επαυλεις, συχρονα ξενοδοχεια και κεντρα αλλα και ο περιφημος Πυργος του Μπελλενη πραγματικο στολιδι της περιοχης.

Ημερα και νυχτα τα Αλιντα σφυζουν απο ζωη. Κολυμβητες που χαιρονται τις ομορφιες της θαλασσας, τα σπορ, τον ηλιο και την ξενοιασια.

Το Λαιγραφικο και Ιστορικο Μουσειο με βιβλιοθηκη, μουσειο τυπου, καθως και αιθουσα ζωγραφικης στεγαζονται στον αναπαλαιωμενο πυργο Μπελλενη, στoν κηπο του οποιου τον Αυγουστο οργανωνονται σημαντικες πολιτιστικες εκδηλωσεις.

Απο τα Αλιντα ξεκινα μια πεζοπορικη διαδρομη που οδηγει στις παναγιες με ομωνυμη εκκλησια και στον Κρυφο με τη θαυμασια παραλια και σπηλια.

Τα παλια μοναστηρια του Αγιου Σωφρονιου και Αγιων Σαραντα βρισκονται κοντα στα Αλιντα.

The Belenis tower, an elegant mansion that has been renovated with particular care, houses the Folklore and Historical Museum and large cultural events are held in its courtyard, primarily at the beginning of August.

In its forecourt was found the sanctuary of an Early Christian church, the Panayia Galatiani (The Blessed Virgin "Galatiani") with mosaics of exceptional artistry. Other noteworthy sites in the region are the churches of Ayios Sophronios and Ayioi Saranda.

Right next to Alinda is Kryfo, a small, idyllic sand beach hidden behind the rocks (kryfo = hidden). An ice-cold spring bubbles up from the depths of the water there.

Kleidi, the highest point on Leros (320 m.), rises above Kryfo.

Every August since 1907 Naval Games, the "Alindeia", well-known in Greece, are held there and include swimming, rowing and diving among other competitions.

The blue waters of the bay of Alinda are suitable for all kinds of sea sports, from windsurfing to water ski-ing.
